hmm....Prior to auditioning I did not. I mean Way back in the day I think we all witnessed "Lonely Girl" that was probably the extent of my knowledge on that sort of thing before Auditioning. Preparing for this part, I basically just do what I always do, and brokedown WHO TINSEL was. I felt like her delivery has to walk a VERY VERY fine line. She says ridiculous things, and not knowing where this girl is coming from, or how her mind works, She could very well come across as Vapid, unitelligent, and EXTREMELY unlikable and annoying. This was my main focus in portraying Tinsel...I wanted her to be vulnerable, and real, and coming from a true place....Which I feel makes the silly things she says have a bit more depth to it. SO to long windedly answer your question lol, there wasn't that much different between preparing for my Tinsel Audition, than say a NETWORK or FILM audition.
