Jack! Yas, History!
The differences and difficulties. Reliability and communication can be a huge one. I think it is important to set a deadline because without one, the assignment can sometimes stay up in the air no matter how many times you check in. With that deadline, I think it's important to be upfront about your expectations. We've both learned through past experiences how being a little lenient with time can ultimately affect you negatively. Give an inch, take a mile can sometimes happen. When you bring someone on to collaborate with you, you are the one that's calling the shots and making it all come together. If you don't stay on top of it all and be the leader that you made yourself to be in the given situation, then things could slip the cracks, which makes it harder to start back up again.
