This could be seen as as a positive thing for creators because it's creating more outlets who are interested in buying original content. Thoughts?
Even better? To fight the discrimination of content creators who are not millennials, have gazillion followers on their YouTube channel or need to have their voices heard - where are THOSE outlets? I'm not putting out idiotic Jackass - type content but it feels like this is the new normal.
I think it's hard because the audience for older-skewing shows tend not to be consuming media digitally, or via new platforms like this. If the audience is over 35, they're just watching regular TV and movies, maybe Netflix or Hulu originals.
