Does anyone else find it ironic that we’ve gone BACK to having advertising breaks while watching content because the other way is starting to be too expensive for consumers??
@rjlackie posted this on Twitter and I had the exact same thought! Which is funny, because ultimately the reason advertising works is because it’s successful- people buy what they’re advertising. And yet people don’t want to pay for the content itself. So consumers are still paying for content, just more indirectly.
