Good outdoor spots for photos in NYC

Hey there Stareable peeps!

I have to do some photoshoots this month in NYC. Anyone know of good spots outdoors with natural light that are easily accessible AKA free? Thanks!

I love Prospect Park- a lot of diverse photo background options and far less busy than Central Park. The drawback is that if you don’t know the area as well it’s definitely harder to navigate because unlike Central Park it isn’t on a grid and has fewer options for subway travel. I would recommend hopping in a 2-3 train and getting off at the Grand Army Plaza station- it’s right at the top of the park and you can easily traverse into different areas and still make your way back out.

Literally all within a 10 minute walk of Grand Army Plaza.

Wow! Looks great thank you so much! I hope we don’t freeze this time of year.

That’s why I advise you sticking to areas close to the subway so you can run and gun haha

Battery Park, south of Brookfield Place! Varied settings, trees, flours, sculptures, water, and not far from the World Trade stop. Plus near Brookfield if you wanna pop into the bathroom for a costume change, touch ups, or a sandwich from num pang
